Orange Lake Resort

Throw the clubs in the car and make your way to a magnificent Central Florida track designed by a legend with today’s feature: $29 for 18 Holes with Cart and Lunch on The Legends Championship Course at Orange Lake Resort in Kissimmee ($95 Value. Expires December 19, 2014!)

Scottish links and gorgeous modern design framed out of pine comprise the uniquely named front and back nines at this gorgeous Kissimmee championship course. With four Green Jackets, a U.S. Open Championship Cup, two Claret Jugs and even a namesake beverage , the designer of this illustrious course — none other than Arnold Palmer himself — is arguably one of the most influential figures in the game of golf. "The King" coupled along with Ed Seay, a member of the ASGCA, to etch this beautiful design out of the natural lay of the land.

The front nine, The Links, features wide-open fairways reminiscent of old Scottish-style courses which bring windy conditions into play and can make club selection challenging. Large, undulating fairways and contoured greens guarded by strategically placed bunkers — standard-issue defenses for this course — require well-placed approach shots and precision putting. The longest of Orange Lake's championship golf holes, The Links' par-5 hole No. 4, measures a staggering 610 yards from the tips and makes a good warm-up before venturing into The Pines.

The Pines’ anticipated towering pines are joined by majestic oaks, winding fairways and flowing water to create a serene setting that complements each hole on the back nine. Premium tee shots must be fired through strategic openings cut through the trees and a wayward shot here could result in a ball pushed deep in the pines. Much like the classic courses of North Carolina, proper club selection, shot-shaping and accuracy are required to successfully navigate through The Pines unscathed. You’ll get a break from the trees on the signature par-4 No. 13, "Island Oak."

Be sure to swing into the pro-shop at The Legends Championship Course to find all of the big names in golf that you demand and deserve. Whether its new equipment, apparel, or even a word with the friendly staff, be sure to pay a visit and see the wide array of the latest and greatest in golf as well as a large selection of Orange Lake Resorts signature gear. Lastly, tally up the days scores at the Legacy Grille located right across from the pro shop and enduldge in some first class food and drinks at a world class facility.

Come play a renowned championship course molded by the very experienced hands of the one and only Arnold Palmer on The Legends Championship Course at Orange Lake Resort in beautiful Kissimmee.
