The second nine at Brunswick, the Dogwood nine, is pure Myrtle Beach, with lots of coastal terrain and pockets of hardwood trees in play throughout. Playing just over 3,500 yards, Dogwood is refreshingly wide open, and gives you a chance to air out every club in your bag. Be sure to pick the right club when you step up to the 6th tee; this par-3’s island green creates a classic Carolina hole where it’s easy to lose a stroke or two.

The final Brunswick nine, the Azalea nine, plays like more like a Midwestern course – surrounded by trees, foliage, and and other natural hazards. Featuring another island green like the one on Dogwood, Azalea’s 3,400-yard layout is heavily bunkered, serene, and a true delight to experience.
