The Golf Club at Rancho California is a true championship golf facility. Formerly known as SCGA Members Golf Course, The Golf Club at Rancho California was opened in 1987 and has graced various "best public course" lists ever since.

The front nine only contains a single par-3, while the back nine doubles that. Most of the holes can be seen from tee to green with undulating fairways and two- and three-level greens. The most memorable holes include the par-4 No. 3 drops more than 100 feet from the tee box to the fairway, and the par-4 No. 18 which demands a long up-hill battle to the hole. Elevation changes and other interesting features help accentuate the features and personality of the course's classic design.
