Lakehouse Hotel and Resort
As its name implies, Lakehouse Hotel and Resort surrounds its guests in the comforting, laid-back atmosphere one might experience with a trip up to the family lake house.
This boutique hotel sits along the shores of Lake San Marcos and hosts a number of fun, exciting activities and amenities not typically found at resort properties. You'll stay in style thanks to its 144 spacious rooms, signature EDS memory foam bedding, and delicious dockside dining. Head down to the marina to get the most out of the lake, with activities like boat rentals, kayaking and paddle-boarding. There's also a full-service spa, two pools, hot tubs, and even a library, and with all that and more, there's no shortage of fun for the whole family.
Of course, let's not forget about the golf! Nestled in the coastal foothills of northern San Diego County, St. Mark Golf Club is the perfect accompaniment to the Lakehouse experience. Designed by Harry Rainville and stretching 6,400 yards from the back set of tees, this par-71 masterpiece is the perfect test of golf for players of any skill level.
Though few trees, foliage, or areas of water are in play, the course’s many drastic doglegs and cleverly placed sand bunkers make course management and shot execution essential for players who want to avoid the hazards and go low with their score on the day. As a semi-private course, you’ll enjoy exceptional course conditions on well-tended fairways, tees, and greens — which play smooth and true all year round.
The same applies to St. Mark's executive course. Packing a lot into a little package, this 2,700-yard par-58 is perfect for a quick morning warm-up or a late-afternoon skills competition with your playing partners. Though golf ends after No. 18, play continues at the 19th, with local craft beers, a delicious menu, and a Full Swing golf simulator.
There are so many great reasons to stay at Lakehouse Resort and Hotel and play at St. Mark Golf Club, and with today's feature, you'll find no better opportunity to come experience them all first-hand!
