Located in Dearborn Heights between Inkster and Beech Daly Roads, Warren Valley Golf and Banquet Center is easily accessible from I-96 or I-94. Each of its 36 holes, spread out over two 18-hole courses, was designed in 1922 by respected Scottish golf architect Donald Ross. In fact, Warren Valley Golf Club was one of his first designs in the state of Michigan. The two courses, the West and the East, are par-71 and par-72, respectively, and measure up to 6,189 yards on the West and 6,126 yards on the East.
Golfers are treated to a tree-lined fairways and well-manicured greens. The rolling terrain and lush landscape that adorns the banks of the Middle Rouge River comes into play on seven holes on the West course and four holes on the East course. Both the East and West courses feature three sets of tee boxes and four water hazards. Ever the cornucopia of golf grasses, Warren Valley features ryegrass teeboxes and fairways bordered by bluegrass roughs which lead to bentgrass greens. And to make sure you’re covered for food and equipment off the course, the clubhouse features a Pro Shop and restaurant, the Ross Room Bar & Grille.
Those who have played a round here are impressed: "Me and a couple of my buddies played this course not too long ago. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The great thing about this course is that it has two courses. And both courses are very scenic, you could tell the groundskeepers are working on this place constantly. I do recommend playing this course," said one reviewer.
"I had a wonderful round at Warren Valley," said another, "The people were nice and the greens were well maintained. It is truly a jewel of Wayne County."
