The course, only playing just under 5,300 yards from the back set of tees, may look fairly straight forward from the get-go, however, looks can be deceiving. Because of many tight fairways lined by mature trees, and the intersecting waters of the Frankford Creek, accuracy is absolutely at a premium here - so you’ll need every club in your bag and shot in your arsenal if you’re after a low score on the day.

Though your approach shots should be fairly low-stress thanks to the limited amount of greenside hazard on the course, the putting surfaces themselves are a whole different story. Fast and deceptively undulated, the greens at Juniata have been justifiably called some of the area's best - so don’t underestimate the importance of your flat stick on your score. Be prepared to be tested with even the shortest three and four footers, as virtually no putt is a “gimmie” here.
