Skyline Golf Course

Play a Wisconsin winner with today’s feature: $20 for 18 Holes with Cart and Range Balls at Skyline Golf Course in Black River Falls ($50 Value. Good Any Time until June 1, 2021!)

Located just minutes from Black River State Forest, today’s feature course, Skyline Golf Club in Black River Falls, offers up a classic Midwestern golfing experiences in a truly pristine setting. Opened for play 1957 and only improving ever since, this well-reviewed hidden gem will surely make your list of most enjoyable courses you’ll play this year.

Though they’re both part of the same spectacular round, the front nine and back nine at Skyline offer two individualized playing experiences that will challenge every single shot in your bag. The front nine, though the longest of the two, is also the most forgiving thanks to fairly wide-open fairways on just about every hole. Elevation changes are nearly constant, making proper club selection sometimes a challenge, and water does come into play on the par-4 7th. You’ll need to be accurate with your short irons and precise with your distances in order to approach the turn with a great score heading into #10.

The back nine, in stark contrast to the front, offers little forgiveness off of the tee due to the mature pines which surround virtually every hole. Waters from the meandering creek are a much bigger foe on the back, meaning accuracy on all accounts is of the utmost importance. Rated 70.5/121 from the back set of tees and measuring a total length of just under 6,400 yards, Skyline’s classic 1950s-style layout and impressive conditions make it must-play for anyone in the Dairy State’s northeast.

No trip to Skyline is complete without the chance to take on the course’s famous 19th hole: the Skyline Bar & Restaurant. Known for their delicious menu of all of your favorites, and excellent beer selection, Skyline Bar & Restaurant makes the perfect destination to end your day of fun.

The chance to play a round like this doesn’t come around every day – so don’t wait and let it pass you by. Reserve your round now with today’s feature from GroupGolfer!
