Located in Germantown just Northeast of Milwaukee proper, today’s feature course, Blackstone Creek Golf Club, is a true stand-out among Wisconsin rounds. A course that celebrates substance over style and rewards players who know how to balance risk versus reward, Blackstone Creek is a round you don’t want to miss.
Constructed in 1974 in the traditional Parkland style, Blackstone Creek has matured into one of Wisconsin’s most complete and enjoyable rounds of golf. A true shotmakers course that certainly rewards accuracy over distance, the course features several drastic doglegs, forced carries over water, and areas of challenge that will test each club in your bag and your ability to execute shots under pressure. Playing just over 6,700 yards from the back set of tees, Blackstone Creek Golf Club is both beautiful to look at and incredibly challenging to play.
The course’s most challenging hole, the par-4 sixth, is representative of exactly what makes Blackstone Creek such a wonderful golf destination. Playing 450 yards from the back set of tees, the hole takes a drastic dogleg turn left around a large fairway bunker before finishing on a small, rounded green. As you approach the green, you’ll also have to contend with both water and bunkers on your left, making accuracy on your second shot of the most paramount importance. Make it through #6 with bogey or better, and you’re well on your way to finishing the round with a low score on the day.
Whether you’re a beginner just getting into the game or a scratch golfer looking for your next great challenge of golf, Blackstone Creek will treat you to a round you’ll never forget. Don’t wait and miss your chance to play such a wonderful course – reserve your round with today’s feature!
