The front nine, the easier of the two, plays fairly wide open – giving golfers who can get off the tee with consistency a fairly good shot at hitting most greens in regulation. The front is also home to one of the course’s most famous par-3s, the 6th hole, which requires a tee shot directly over water into a small, rounded green.

Though the front certainly does possess some challenges, the back is by far the testier of the two. With water present on half of the holes and rolling narrow fairways present throughout, the back requires more accuracy, both in distance and direction, than the front if you want to be successful. The back nine also features larger sloped modern greens which add yet another layer of challenge to the course – so you’ll need your flat stick’s “A” game.
