Do this, and miss a minimal amount of fairways off of the tee, and you’ll be well-positioned to walk away with a low score on the day.

Two things that truly set apart Moundview’s 134-acre layout from other area courses are the testy par-3s and spectacularly manicured greens. The par-3s, with one playing over 210 yards from the back tees, are in no way push overs that can simply be conquered with an accurate short-iron shot. If you’re serious about making up some strokes against par here, focus intently when you reach these monsters – they can truly be the make or break moments of your round.

As far as the greens go, smooth and fast-rolling is the name of the game across the entire layout. Some of the finest you’ll find anywhere in the Midwest, Moundview’s putting surfaces feature frequent drastic changes in undulation that require a steady flatstick throughout your round.
