The Eagles Golf Club
Eagles Golf Club in Odessa, is so jam-packed with exceptional golf that we’re not even sure we can fit it all into one email. Open since the mid-90s and home to two picturesque courses – The Forest and The Lakes – Eagles offers an incredible opportunity to test your game and is most certainly the must-visit golf facility for anyone in or around the Tampa area.
While they are united by the same exceptional conditions and imagination-provoking golf spirit, both The Forest and The Lakes courses each offer unique and distinctive challenges you won’t find anywhere else. The Forest Course, the crown jewel of the Eagles Golf Club, brought together two of the game's legends to construct the design: former player and architect Gary Koch (front nine) and renowned course architect Ron Garl (back nine). Together, they’ve created a 6,600-yard challenge that will meet, exceed, and destroy even your wildest of expectations. The course is aptly named for the significant presence of trees but is also adorned with plenty of water, bunkers, and changes in elevation. From the signature 6th hole to the “Lake Michigan” 13th, every shot, angle, and view you'll find out on The Forest is like something you’ve only seen in a golf magazine or on TV. It is a truly spectacular sanctuary of golf.
The other aptly named course at Eagles Golf Club, The Lakes Course, offers over 7,100 yards of play with water present on nearly every single hole. More like what you’d expect from a “traditional” Florida course, The Lakes features generous driving areas, Bermuda greens, and beautiful views from tees and greens. Though both nines on The Lakes start with unique par-5s, players of all skills and ability levels can find success with a measured, thought-out approach.
With dining destinations right on site, a fully stocked pro shop, and opportunities to enjoy Night Golf and other activities, the fun at Eagles Golf Club is near never-ending. Don’t miss your chance to experience such incredible golf with today’s feature from GroupGolfer!
