Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center
Located in the scenic countryside of Plymouth, Michigan, Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center is a premier golf destination offering 63 holes of championship-caliber play. Spanning 500 acres of beautifully maintained terrain, the facility blends historic charm with modern amenities. For nearly 50 years, Fox Hills has been recognized as one of Michigan’s top public golf venues, offering a memorable experience for players of all skill levels.
The facility is home to three unique golf courses. The Fox Classic, designed in 1927 by Wilfred Reid, offers a traditional layout with mature trees and small greens that test accuracy and skill. Its three distinct nines — Hills, Woodlands, and Lakes — create a memorable 27-hole experience with diverse playing conditions. Players will enjoy the classic feel of this beloved layout, complemented by a renovated log-cabin-style clubhouse that dates back to the course’s origins.
Fox Hills also features the Golden Fox, another championship layout. Discerning golfers looking for a true links-style challenge can take on this Arthur Hills design, featuring expansive fairways, deep bunkers, and prairie grasses reminiscent of a Scottish seaside course. For those focused on honing their short game, the Strategic Fox, a par-3 course designed by Ray Hearn, delivers a fast, fun, and challenging experience.
The award-winning practice facilities at Fox Hills include two driving ranges, two putting greens, a chipping and pitching area, and two practice bunkers. The Short Game Area, designed by Mike Nuzzo, features multiple greens, bunkers of varying depths, and plenty of space for practicing all aspects of the short game. The Golf Performance Center also offers professional instruction for players of all skill levels.
Fox Hills is not only a golf destination but also a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. It leads sustainability efforts with habitat restoration, water conservation projects, and wildlife management. These environmental initiatives include maintaining naturalized areas, planting native species, and supporting pollinator habitats with honey bee boxes and bat houses.
With exceptional golf, environmental stewardship, and renowned hospitality, Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center continues to set the standard for public golf in Michigan.
