Officially established in 1914 as a nine-hole layout, the Cadillac Country Club was reconfigured and expanded at the mid-point of the century into an 18-hole parkland-style course that is truly unforgettable. Built on a relatively flat piece of Michigan property, these ingenious 18-holes are littered with towering historic trees that create corridor-type fairways, and small well-guarded greens that add a little extra challenge into each and every hole. Playing just over 6,100 yards from the back set of tees, the Cadillac Country Club layout offers the perfect mix of playability and challenge, as well as old-school and new-school design features – creating a one-of-a-kind course the likes of which you simply won’t find anywhere else.

Though water doesn’t come into play often at the CCC, it is a prominent feature in the course’s signature hole: the par-3 sixteenth. Playing over water from two separate teeing locations, the hole can measure anywhere from 120 yards to 170 yards – depending on how difficult you want to make it for yourself. Then, not only must you make it over the water, but you must hit and hold a back-to-front-sloped green through the prevailing winds if you want a chance to hit the green in regulation – no easy feat.
